[DATA ENTRY 11.28.2026]:

>[Technician 04-D AKA “NYTHENDRA”]:
>Day 19 of containment. The subject matter of this study will be referred to moving forward as “The Symbol.” This log contains information gathered from recovered helmet cameras.

>The Symbol was discovered within a cleared structure south of Kiev by Ukrainian SSO approximately 21 calendar days ago, attached to the body armor of an unidentified male—who will be referred to moving forward as “The Sorceror.”

>Upon clearing the 3rd floor of the structure, SSO discovered a room roughly 15x15 feet, with no windows and a low ceiling. Ethernet and power cables were stapled to the walls and singular door frame, leading to a collection of what appeared to be 9 scavenged computer towers arranged in a circle in the middle of the room.

>One SSO operative mentions the room smells like burnt skin and human waste.

>The Sorceror was discovered sitting in the center of the computer towers, wearing a uniform and body armor, with several Ethernet and data cables from the towers crudely routed from the ground into each of his arms. The Sorceror’s arms appeared to be surgically altered to accept Cat6 and USB2.0 cables, with heavy scarring and streams of dried blood.

>The Sorceror’s head was shaved, and adorned with a set of FPV drone goggles that had been retrofit with at least 12 additional long WiFi and radio antennae with hundreds of small wires connected to electrodes over most of his skull.

>The FPV Goggles appeared to be pressed hard enough into The Sorceror’s face to cause bleeding, noted by the streams of dried blood broken up by tears and sweat, which navigated their way down his cheeks, in between electrodes and poorly-soldered wires.

>His mouth appeared to be on the verge of saying something, but The Sorceror was assumed deceased due to the extent of the pooled blood and his injuries.

>The following is declassified dialogue from the helmet cam footage after the initial discovery, translated from Ukrainian to English.

>[SSO-1]: “I’ve never seen so many wires, shit.”
>[SSO-2]: “It’s like a server room in here.”
>[SSO-5]: “Think this has anything to do with these recent attacks? The [REDACTED] in the radio broadcasts?”
>[SSO-1]: “Some movie shit. I hope not. Wouldn’t know where to begin explaining.”
>[SSO-3]: “Guys, look at the headset. All those antennae. Anyone else see a crown?”
>[SSO-1]: …
>[SSO-3]: “Like a human radio tower.”

>[Technician 04-D AKA “NYTHENDRA”]:
>The SSO operatives continue to analyze The Sorceror’s appearance and clothing, noting a lack of any identifiable allegiance or country of origin.

>No Russian identification, no papers, no wallet.

>The Sorceror wore a black Fort Technologies “Defender” plate carrier, missing both the neck and groin armor. On the front of the plate carrier was the first discovery of The Symbol.

>The Symbol appears to be a velcro patch, roughly 2x3.5” horizontally, cut from thick, rough black leather, with a white Eastern Orthodox cross stylized in bones painted in the center.

>The following is declassified dialogue from the helmet cam footage after the initial discovery of The Symbol, translated from Ukrainian to English.

>[SSO-5]: “See that, on his armor? Only patch on him.”
>[SSO-4]: “Ortho cross? So what.”
>[SSO-3]: “Looks like it’s made of… bone?”
>[SSO-5]: “Those attacks… the survivors said they heard victims screaming about a symbol, before they [REDACTED].”
>[SSO-1]: “Bullshit. Stories.”
>[SSO-5]: “Man, it’s true. [REDACTED] was there, he told me. He said he’s never seen a human [REDACTED] the way the victims did. Grown men, reduced to screaming pile of cells.
>[SSO-2]: *Chuckling* “Nobody here has a radio, right?”
>[SSO-1]: …
>[SSO-5]: “[REDACTED], your radio, did you bring it?”
>[SSO-1]: “Man, it’s ghost stories. I already told you.”
>[SSO-5]: “Take the battery out, now.”
>[SSO-1]: …
>[SSO-5]: “Take the battery out, NOW!”
>[SSO-1]: *Removing battery from holstered radio* “Shit, fine! We’ll call it in by payphone. Hope you brought change.”
>[SSO-3]: “Shut the fuck up, listen! What the fuck is that?”
>[SSO-4]: “Sounds like TV static, down the hall.
>[SSO-5]: “It’s getting closer, fuck.”
>[SSO-3]: “Shit, it’s like TV static mixed with… no signal?”
>[SSO-5]: “It’s getting closer man, I can hear it through my headset!”
>[SSO-2]: “It’s like it’s right there, right outside in the hallway!”
>[SSO-1]: …
>[SSO-5]: “It’s so loud I can feel it!”
>[SSO-1]: “What is this, LRAD attack maybe?”
>[SSO-3]: “Agh, like a fax machine on steroids.”
>[SSO-2]: “Did it… stop for anyone else?”
>[SSO-5]: “Yeah, dying down a bit.”
>[SSO-4]: “Gone for me, too.”
>[SSO-3]: “Awful, shit.”
>[SSO-5]: “The computer towers, the lights just turned on. Anybody seeing this?”
>[SSO-3]: “No fucking way.”
>[SSO-1]: “That’s impossible.”
>[SSO-4]: …
>[SSO-5]: “It’s here.”

>[Technician 04-D AKA “NYTHENDRA”]:
>The footage ends with the low hum of 9 computer towers powering on in unison, followed by a piercing mechanical shriek that appears to come from SSO-1’s radio, incapacitating the entire squad in the room with The Sorceror.

>The helmet cam footage is distorted and grainy, but in the corner of the frame shows The Sorceror still sitting in the same position, now with his mouth wide open, and baring bloodied teeth.

>The radio, even without battery, continues to blare an impossibly loud frequency that seems to repeat in an unknown pattern, indecipherable by human ears.

>Scrubbing frame by frame through limited pixel data, The Symbol appears to manipulate its materials to match the SSO operatives’ gear.

>[Technician 04-D AKA “NYTHENDRA”]:
>This data entry will now describe The Symbol’s recovery and observed status.

>After recovery of the SSO operatives’ bodies and destruction of the room, The Sorceror and his connected peripherals were securely transported by a specialized team to the containment facility this message is being written from.

>The Symbol was removed from the body armor and placed within its own containment room separate from The Sorceror.

>The Symbol must remain locked within a 2” thick clear UHMWPE container for observation, with constant live feed cameras capturing it from each angle.

>Currently, The Symbol has manipulated its appearance over 20 times while in containment, consistent with the [REDACTED] attacks reported within the region.

>The connection between The Symbol and The Sorceror continues to be studied.
